Integrated Device Technology (Renesas Electronics America)
Integrated Device Technology, referred to as IDT, is a semiconductor company headquartered in the United States. Founded in 1980, the company was originally known for designing high-performance memory chips. At present, IDT's products include clock and timing products, high-speed serial interface (HSI) solutions, interface controllers, wireless charging, sensors, radio spectrum products and memory interfaces, etc., which are widely used in data centers, communications, industry, automotive electronics , consumer electronics and other fields.
In 2021, IDT was acquired by Japanese semiconductor company Renesas Electronics and became the US subsidiary of Renesas Electronics. IDT is headquartered in San Jose, California, with offices and factories in the United States, Europe and Asia.
